Q. Why dose PTZ can not be controlled?
Please make sure 485 signal wire connected correctly (A connect to A,B connect to
B or A connect to +,B connect to -) and then ascertain PTZ protocol, bit rate, and PTZ number are in according with the decoder parameter.
Q:There are a lot of noise on the image.
- Check if the video signal output from the camera has a problem.Check to make sure the camera is not damaged by trying another camera into a working video output.
- Check if the video cable connecting the camera and DVR is cut, cross-wired, or shorted.
- Check if there is a high voltage wire around the video cable connecting the camera to? DVR system. It can cause the noise problem to decrease video quality.
- Check if the video cable connecting the camera to DVR system is the correct video cable.? When a normal power-supplying cable is used instead of the video cable, screen noise? can be generated
Q:the camera images are not displayed
- -Check if the camera video output is connected to DVR system correctly.
- Check if the power cable on the camera is connected correctly.
- Check if the video cable connecting the camera to DVR system has a problem.
- This problem can occur because of weak video signal if the video data is transferred by the video data distributor when the video is connected to multiple systems. Connect the? camera directly to DVR.
- Turn off DVR system and turn it on again.
Q. Can it connect to computer directly?
A. Yes, as long as it support TIC/IP protocol.
Q. What is an embedded system? How embedded system different from a standard PC based system?
Embedded systems are devices built upon simple hardware architecture. PC based systems usually contain a central processing unit (CPU), memory (RAM/ROM), Bridges (north and south bridge), Buses (ISA/PCI/SCSI), storage (hard disk drive), I/O (mouse, keyboard, parallel/serial ports) etc. An embedded system, however, is usually built upon a simple architecture called SOC (System-on-a-Chip).
Embedded systems are harder to design, in terms of both hardware and software. From the user’s point of view, however, embedded systems offer many benefits:
- Easy to use.
- Better system stability. On average, an embedded system is 200 times more stable than a PC based system.
- Hardware and software costs are less.
- Smaller mechanical size.
-The LCD display with AV input does not take the working requirements of 24 hours per day or 365 days per year into consideration, which means the safe electric performance and good heat emission design are not taken into the consideration for the design of the machine
-professional LCD monitors, adopts the excellent engineering science and Human Factors Engineering Structure and beauty crafts into the appearance design, and can be fixed through various constant working performance, low ripples switch power and electric performance that meet EMC standard are all features that can not be met on other LCD displays. Furthermore the professional LCD monitor chose the PANEL with high brightness, high contrast, broad visual angle and low response time.
Q:No video data is displayed on the moni
- -Check to make sure the monitor and camera is turned on.
- Check if the video output cable is properly connected to the monitor.
- Unplug the power cable and plug in again.
Q:The image on the screen is dim.
- Check if the video signal output from the camera has a problem.Check to make sure the? camera is not damaged by trying another camera into a working video output.
When a normal power-supplying cable is used instead of the video cable, screen noise? can be generated.
Q:Nothing appears on the screen.
-Check the power cord and line connection between the camera and monitor are made properly.
-Check that the DC/VIDEO selection switch on the rear of the camera is set to a proper position according to the type of your auto IRIS lens.
A:
-Check the ports of DC IN/ VGA IN/VIDEO IN at the back side of the monitor, make sure all these ports are in good connection with other external ports.?
-Check the signal input in menu set-up is selected VGA.
-Check if the screws in the front panel are loose, it will effect the power key if so, just tighten up and try again.
A:Q: How to set-up the alarm system with DVRs (Such as SD-3016/SD-3008/SD-3040/BL-1700T4)
-According to our DVRs, alarm input/alarm output can be set-up at the same time. Check the connection ports at the back panel, make sure all ports are in the right connection under the instruction of User’s manual.
-Standard cable for video input/output is necessary if want to capture & view pictures from any camera.
Q: Which kind of hard disk is available to the DVRs?
A:
-For the DVRs before 2008, HDD with IDE port, PATA kind is ok, HDD space occupation is without limit if we don’t make any comment.
-From January 2008, SATOW’s DVRs will be change gradually from IDE port to SATA port.
Q: How to install the hard disk in the DVRs?
A:
-For BL-1700T4, under the instructions of the User’s manual.
-For SD-3016/SD-3008/SD-3040, click here to finish the installation.(pictures attached)
